WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEEES

REGULAR MEETING – AUGUST 24, 2010

MEETING ROOM – 7:30 PM.

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Sue Butler with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: Butler, Towsley, Blust, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Myers

Absent: none

Blust moved and Blair seconded to approve the agenda as presented. Carried

unanimously.

Marsh moved and Kline seconded to approve the consent agenda which consisted

of the minutes from the previous meeting. Carried unanimously.

Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 100

calls in the past two weeks with 63 being traffic.

No Planning Commission or Sewer Board reports.

Chief Miller reported that our ambulance runs are way down and fire about the same

as last year.

Supervisor Butler reported that the Eaton County has opted out of the DDA so at this

time that is a dead issue.

Assessor Preston reported that preliminary sales studies are down from last year.

Supervisor Butler reported that she talked to Mr. Azzawai’s brother and he came and

the yards have been mowed.

Clerk Towsley reported that the chipper grant has been received and the purchase

will happen after October 1, 2010.

Discussion held on the addition of the 1 % administrative fee to the tax bills. Discussed

future needs of the township and how we handle the decrease in tax money and most

likely revenue sharing.

With no further business Towsley moved and Blust seconded to adjourn the

meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:37 PM.
