REGULAR MEETING – MARCH 23, 2010
MEETING ROOM – 7:30 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Sue Butler with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Towsley moved and Blair seconded to approve the agenda as amended (adding Brooks River Landing under Unfinished Business and Memorial Day Parade under New Business). Carried unanimously.
Blust moved and Marsh seconded to approved the agenda which was the minutes
of the previous meeting. Carried unanimously.
Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, shared that we have had 175 calls with 111 being traffic in the past two weeks. B & E ‘s are starting again.
Blair gave report from Planning Commission and Sewer Board.
Fire Chief Miller shared that runs are down for both fire and ambulance. We will be receiving pagers and radios with the required narrow banding on a grant in the summer.
This band change is mandatory by 2013.
No DDA report.
Assessor
Clerk Towsley reported that Holt & Charlotte Schools will be having elections on May 4th. Starting in August we will be using the new electronic poll books.
Discussion held on the Brooks River Landing Sewer concerns. Blair moved and Kline seconded to agree to allow Supervisor Sue Butler to contact Brooks River Landing with understanding that in the Wolverine Study the $3500 is appropriate. Then they can let us know which option they wish and then have Attorney Robinson send a letter to the Sewer Board. Carried unanimously.
Blair reported that Merit is no longer hosting web sites so that by May 1, 2010 we will have to find a new host. He will gather more information.
Towsley moved and Marsh seconded to support the Memorial Day Parade and the Emergency Service Department will be participating. Carried unanimously.
Michael Atayan, Eaton County Drain Commissioner, and Richard Slaybaugh gave a history of the King Drain. They shared information on the drain office and answered questions. Jaye Bergamini,
Deb Shaughnessy introduced herself as a candidate for the 71st District.
Scott Aughney introduced himself as a candidate for the 7th Congressional District.
With no further business Marsh moved and Towsley seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:55 PM.
