WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING – JANUARY 12, 2010

MEETING ROOM – 7:30 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Sue Butler with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: Butler, Towsley, Blust, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Myers

Absent: none

Butler moved and Blair seconded to approve the agenda with the addition of hunting on Township Property under New Business. Carried unanimously.

Blair moved and Marsh seconded to approve the Consent Agenda which included the minutes of the previous meeting, treasurer’s report and general fund bills (vouchers 19405 – 19476 & 22509 – 22558) totaling $ 100413.10. Carried unanimously.

Towsley gave sheriff report which showed we had 251 calls in the past month with 180

being traffic.

Blair gave report from Planning Commission and Sewer Board.

Chief Miller gave report from Emergency Service Department and shared that EMS runs are down and fire about the same as last year.

Butler moved and Blair seconded to add Dave Eastman to the Fire On Call. Carried unanimously.

Miller also shared that 1153 needs some major maintenance in the electrical system.

No DDA report.

Preston reported that he is approaching his busy time but that things are moving along.

The Wolverine report on Brooks River was looked at and discussed. Will do more research and discuss again at February meeting.

Discussion held on forming a Finance Committee. Will discuss further in February.

Blair moved and Blust seconded to post all Township Property as No Hunting or Trespassing. Carried unanimously.

No public comments.

With no further business Marsh moved and Blust seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:09 PM.
