WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING – OCTOBER 13, 2009

MEETING ROOM – 7:30 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Sue Butler with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: Butler, Towsley, Blust, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Myers

Absent: none

Towsley moved and Blair seconded to approve the agenda as presented. Carried

unanimously.

Marsh moved and Myers seconded to approve the consent agenda which

included minutes of previous meeting, general fund bills (vouchers 19224 –

19281 & 22430 -22386 totaling $ 144079.06) and Treasurer’s report.

Carried unanimously.

The public hearing for the 2010 budgets was called to order at 7:33 PM.

Linda Logue asked if there was any stimulus money available for township to use.

The answer is only in the fire area and Chief has applied for those.

Closed the public hearing at 7:45 PM

Blair gave report from Planning Commission and Sewer Board.

Chief Miller gave report from Emergency Service Department.

Assessor Preston gave update.

Towsley offered and Blair supported the Millage Resolution to set mills

at 4.0 for 2009 winter tax bills. (copy attached)

Ayes: Butler, Towsley, Blust, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Myers

Nays: none

Absent: none

Resolution adopted 7-0

Towsley offered and Blust supported the Resolution to raise salary for

Supervisor to $24000 and no other changes. (copy attached)

Ayes: Marsh, Kline, Myers, Blair, Blust, Butler, Towsley

Nays: none

Absent: none

Resolution adopted 7-0

Towsley offered and Marsh supported 2010 Budgets (copy attached) for

Adoption.

Ayes: Blust, Kline, Blair, Myers, Marsh, Towsley, Butler

Nays: none

Resolution adopted.

Linda Logue expressed concerns over office hours.

With no further business Marsh moved and Blust seconded to adjourn the meeting.

Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:02 PM
