REGULAR MEETING – AUGUST 25, 2009
MEETING ROOM – 7:30 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Butler with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present:

Towsley moved and Blust seconded to approve the agenda as amended which
the addition under New Business of
Farmland Open Space Preservation request
and Drain at Large costs. Carried unanimously.
Blair moved and Kline seconded to approve the consent agenda which
consisted of
the minutes of the previous meeting.
Carried unanimously.
Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 112
calls in the past two weeks with 62 being traffic related.
Blair gave report from Planning Commission, Master Plan and Sewer Board.
Chief Miller gave update from Emergency Service Department. Miller gave a thank you
to the Sheriff Department for their help during the power outage this past weekend.
Assessor
Towsley offered and
Proposed B-3 and B-4 zoning classes.
Ayes: Myers,
Nays: none
Absent: Marsh
Resolution adopted 6-0
for the new agreement. There is a public station that we might want to put a power point
on.
Discussion held on Urban Rural Service Boundary grant request.
Towsley moved and Blust seconded to approve the Farmland and Open Space
Preservation request from James & Antoinette Fredline,
send it on to the other agencies.
Carried unanimously.
Discussion held on Drain at Large amounts for 2010 budget.
With no further business Towsley moved and Blust seconded to adjourn the meeting.
Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:03 PM.
