MEETING ROOM – MAY 26, 2009
REGULAR MEETING – 7:30 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Sue Butler with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Towsley moved and Blust seconded to approve the agenda with the addition of 2008 Budget Amendments. Carried unanimously.
Towsley moved and Blust seconded to approve the consent agenda (minutes of previous
Meeting). Carried unanimously.
Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 114 calls in the past two weeks with 66 being traffic.
Chief Miller gave report from Emergency Service Department.
Towsley moved and Kline seconded to add Dave Eastman to the paid on call ambulance
Roster. Carried unanimously.
Assessor St Clair reported that all of the reports have been filed and that we have had 12 building permits (2 for new homes) issued.
Board meeting. Blust moved and Kline seconded to hire Pete Preston of Preston Community Services to do our assessing. Carried unanimously.

Kern Slucter reviewed the
information on the
Towsley moved and Myers seconded to do Gunnell from Vermontville to the west curve this year at a cost of $76000 with the county paying a portion. Carried unanimously.
Towsley moved and Blust seconded to approve the 2008 Budget amendments as presented. Carried unanimously.
Flemings of Walnut Hwy asked if more dirt hauling would be done this summer to the Sewer Plant. Albertson said he does not think so.
Linda Conklin of the Library Board thanked the Board members for their financial support of the Library and presented letters to each member.
With no further business Kline moved and Towsley seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:15 PM.
