WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES
REGULAR MEETING - MAY 12, 2009
MEETING ROOM - 7:30 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Sue Butler with the Pledge of Allegiance.


Present: Butler, Towsley, Blust, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Myers
Absent: none

Towsley moved and Kline seconded to approve the agenda as printed. 
Carried unanimously.

Marsh moved and Blust seconded to approve the consent agenda which included minutes of previous meeting, general fund bills (vouchers 18931 - 18990 & 22024 - 22076  $79959.45) and treasurer’s report as corrected.
Carried unanimously.


Blair gave report from Planning Commission, Master Plan and Sewer Board.

Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 213 calls in the past 4 weeks with 134 being traffic related.
There have been several B & E in the out county.

Chief Miller reported from the Emergency Service Department.

Clerk Towsley reported that we had a 6 % turnout for May 5th election.

Discussion was held on the assessor position.

Butler moved and Towsley seconded to hold interviews for the top 3 choices on May 26th starting at 5:30 P.M.
Carried unanimously.

Blair gave report on meeting with Blair Ballou about the roads. We are all set for chloride and the two proposed projects are Walnut Hwy $66000 and Gunnell from Vermontville north to curve $76000. We can only do one project.  Decision will be made at the May 26th meeting.

With no further business Marsh moved and Blust seconded to adjourn the meeting.
Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:03 PM.
