WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING – MARCH 10, 2009

                                          MEETING ROOM – 7:30 P.M.                 

 

 Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Butler with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: Butler, Towsley, Blust, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Myers

Absent: none

Blair moved and Blust seconded to approve the agenda as amended (addition of budget amendment as item 3C under New Business).  Carried unanimously.

Kline moved and Marsh seconded to approve the consent agenda (includes minutes of previous meeting, treasurer’s report, general fund bills totaling $ 459134.62 vouchers 15504-18863 & 21903-21952).  Carried unanimously.

Blair gave report from Planning Commission, Master Plan and Sewer Board.

Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 114 calls in the past two weeks with 80 being traffic related.

Miller gave report from Emergency Service Department.  Towsley moved and Marsh seconded to appoint Dennis McMahon to the office of Captain for the Fire Department effective immediately.  Carried unanimously.

Butler gave update on Board of Review and DDA.

Butler reviewed information for Assessor request. 

Butler moved and Blust seconded to send a Thank you to Migaldi stating that we are not interested in purchasing his land.  Carried unanimously.

Clerk shared workshop information and FEMA open house dates and times.

Towsley moved and Butler seconded to move $5000 from contingency to Drain at Large for 2009.  Carried unanimously.

Discussion held on possible farming of land on Creyts Road.

With no further business Kline moved and Marsh seconded to adjourn the meeting.  Carried unanimously.  Adjourned at 8:02 PM.
