Brady Harrington, Eaton County Drain Commissioner, explained the needed repairs for the Murray Drain.  Village of Dimondale would like to see the repairs all the way to Creyts Road so that it is repaired correctly.  The cost will be $50,000.  The Village passed the resolution for the emergency work.  There approximately 100 property owners in the district and they do not need to notify them for a hearing.  The bills will be over 3 years with most likely a 4 % interest rate.  If it goes to petition to be fixed they would need to hire a surveyor which would add a large amount of money to the project.

Marsh offered and Blair supported the resolution to repair the Murray Drain to Creyts Road and at a cost of $50000.
