REGULAR MEETING – APRIL 8, 2008
MEETING ROOM –
Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Arthur St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present; A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Slucter
Absent: none
J. St. Clair moved and Blair seconded to approve the agenda as amended. (Adding Retirement recognition) Carried unanimously.
Marsh moved and Kline seconded to approve the consent agenda which included minutes of March 25 meeting, Treasurer’s report and general fund bills totaling $613280.79 /vouchers 18141 – 18187 & 21158 – 21192). Carried unanimously.
Chief Cribley presented Retired Captain Robert Green with his Gold Badge and Public Safety Chairperson Kern Slucter presented a Tribute from the Board of Trustees for 27 years of service.
Blair gave report from Planning Commission, Master Plan and Sewer Board.
Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 117 calls in the past two weeks with 56 being traffic related.
Towsley reported on upcoming School Election (Grand Ledge, Holt and Waverly) and MTA County Chapter meeting that we are hosting on April 28th.
Blair reported on process for Roads for this spring.
Discussion held on the formation of a DDA for the Township. Slucter, Kline and Marsh will gather some general information and bring it back to the Board.
With no further business Kline moved and Blair seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:27 PM.
