WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING – MEETING ROOM

JANUARY 22, 2008 – 7:30 P.M.

 

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Arthur St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley,  J. St. Clair, Kline, Marsh, Slucter

Absent:  Blair

J. St. Clair moved and Kline seconded to approve the agenda.  Carried unanimously.

Kline moved and Marsh seconded to approve the consent agenda which included the minutes of December 11, 2007, Treasurer’s report and to pay general fund bills totaling $ 740245.30 (vouchers 17767-17828 & 18000-18034 & 20437-20489 & 21000-21042) Carried unanimously.

Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, did not have statistics as the new program is not up and running yet.  He is not aware of any specific problems in the area.

No Planning Commission, Sewer Board or Master Plan reports.

Cribley gave report from Emergency Service Department.  Slucter moved and Marsh seconded to appoint Doug Drake to the open Lt. Position in the Fire Department.  Carried unanimously.

Slucter gave update on meeting with new owners of property on Creyts Road.

Clerk reported that we had 24% turnout for the Presidential Primary.

Slucter moved and J. St. Clair seconded that the township join the stormwater task force as an associate member.  Carried unanimously.

Al Surink introduced Al Miner from Auto Owners Flood Insurance Department who has been working them on this subject. 

Tom Reich introduced himself as a candidate for Sheriff on the Republican ticket.

Michael Reitz and Linda Keefe Lewis were there in regards to his neighbor.

With no further business Towsley moved and Marsh seconded to adjourn the meeting.  Carried unanimously.  Adjourned at 8:23 PM.
