REGULAR MEETING –
MEETING ROOM –
Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Slucter
Absent: none
Marsh moved and Kline seconded to approve the agenda as amended. Carried unanimously.
Blair moved and J. St. Clair seconded to approve the consent agenda which included Treasurer’s report, minutes of October 23, 2007 meeting, general fund bills ( vouchers 17648 – 17699 & 20332 – 20393) totaling $ 91894.11. Carried unanimously.
Blair gave report from Planning Commission, Master Plan and Sewer Board.
Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that in the past 3 weeks we have had 142 calls with 84 being traffic. Car-deer accidents are very high.
A.St Clair gave update on
Cribley gave report from Emergency Service Department. Slucter moved and Marsh seconded to purchase a new generator (the current one died during the storms) from Drake Electric at a cost of $9958. Carried unanimously.
Towsley moved and Slucter seconded to transfer $9960 from Contingency to Fire Capital Outlay for the generator. Carried unanimously.
Blair moved and Marsh seconded to promote Lt. Mike Dent to Captain effective December 1, 2007 to replace Bob Green who is retiring. Carried unanimously.
Towsley moved and Marsh seconded to reappoint Sandy Pray to a term on the Planning Commission to expire November 20, 2010. Carried unanimously.
No action on leaf pickup.
Slucter moved and J. St. Clair seconded to send the letter to FEMA for Grand Pointe Subdivision. Carried unanimously.
No public comments.
With no further business Slucter moved and Marsh
seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously.
