WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING – OCTOBER 23, 2007

MEETING ROOM – 7:30 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Kline, Marsh

Absent: Slucter

Towsley moved and Blair seconded to amend the agenda with the removal of Emergency Vehicle policy as neither Slucter nor Cribley are able to attend the meeting tonight.  Carried unanimously.

J. St. Clair moved and Marsh seconded to approve the consent agenda (minutes of October 9^th meeting).  Carried unanimously.

Blair gave report from Planning Commission, Sewer Board and Master Plan Task Force.

Towsley gave reported from Board of Appeals that the signs for TA Travel Center were all approved.

A.St Clair reported that the purchase agreement for the ambulance has been signed and that the property on Creyts Road was purchased at auction.

A St. Clair also gave report from Eaton County MTA Chapter meeting about new legislation that is going to be introduced.

TA TRAVEL CENTER SPECIAL USE PERMIT:

Dave Schiele and Chris Winkle were present from TA. They gave a report and update on the project on the site of the current Don’s Truck Stop.

Blair moved and Marsh seconded to grant the Special Use Permit to TA Travel Center as per the recommendation of the Planning Commission. Carried unanimously.

With no further business Marsh moved and J. St. Clair seconded to adjourn the meeting.  Carried unanimously.  Adjourned at 7:57 PM.
