WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING – AUGUST 28, 2007

MEETING ROOM – 7:30 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Kline, Marsh, Slucter

Absent: Blair

J. St. Clair moved and Slucter seconded to approve the agenda as presented. Carried unanimously.

Marsh moved and Slucter seconded to approve the consent agenda which contained the minutes of the August 14^th meeting.  Carried unanimously.

Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 70 calls in the past 12 days with 29 being traffic related.

Cribley gave report from Emergency Service Department.

Towsley moved and Slucter seconded to add Kylie Johnson to the EMS trainee roster.  Carried unanimously.

Discussion held on Mutual Aid document from Eaton Rapids Township.  Several questions about the wording so Cribley will contact their fire chief to discuss.

Slucter moved and Kline seconded to extend the Special Use Permit for Legend Inn Bed & Breakfast for one year.  Carried unanimously.

Linda Keefe, County Commissioner, reported that the new septic/well inspections passed but that she voted against it.  She reported that the county now has a dental plan for those without insurance. Towsley expressed concern over the fact that the county did not reimburse for all expenses for the August election.

Attorney Carl Woodard, representing Steve and Lori Pratt of Country Car Care, stated that when they opened the business they thought it was allowed in their zoning.  They also have a concern over the letter that was sent to the State of Michigan.

With no further business Marsh moved and J. St. Clair seconded to adjourn the meeting.  Carried unanimously.  Adjourned at 8:00 P.M.
