REGULAR MEETING – MAY 22, 2007
MEETING ROOM – 7:30 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Art St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. Clair, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Slucter
Absent: none
J. St Clair moved and Blair seconded to approve the agenda with the addition of Brooks River Landing under reports. Carried unanimously.
Slucter moved and Marsh seconded to approve the minutes of May 7, 2007 under consent agenda. Carried unanimously.
Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 61 calls in the past two weeks with 23 being traffic related.
Blair gave report from Planning Commission, Master Plan and Sewer Board.
Towsley reported on HB 4780 which was to transfer Tax Collection, Assessing and Elections to the county. The hearing that was scheduled for May 23rd has been postponed.
A. St. Clair reported on a problem at Brooks River Condo and their septic system. It has been taken care of.
Discussion with Commissioner Linda Keefe about the septic/well inspection that county wants to start.
Blair offered and Kline supported the first reading of the intent to adopt the changes for the zoning ordinance to make it compliant with the Zoning Enabling laws.

Nays: none
Resolution adopted 7-0.
J. St. Clair moved and Slucter seconded to adopt the budget amendments for 2006. Carried unanimously.

Discussion held on reimbursements from county for August election.
With no further business Marsh moved and Blair seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:21 PM.
