WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING – APRIL 24, 2007

MEETING ROOM – 7:30 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: A St Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Slucter

Absent: none

Towsley moved and Blair seconded to approve the amended agenda.  Carried unanimously.

Towsley moved and Marsh seconded to approve the consent agenda of minutes of April 10, 2007 meeting.  Carried unanimously.

Cribley shared county sheriff report of 65 calls with 36 being traffic in the past two weeks.

Blair gave report from Planning Commission and Sewer Board.

Cribley gave report from Emergency Service Department.  Erin Adams, Cody Reedy and Grant Gillie were presented with their badges as having passed Firefighter I & II.

Cribley shared information about MI Emergency Management Assistance Compact. Will have Township Attorney review the resolution and program.

Slucter moved and Blair seconded to purchase two cots for the ambulances at a cost of $ 9200 that will be safer for heavier patients and medics.  Carried unanimously.

J. St Clair gave report from cemetery committee meeting.

Blair moved and J. St. Clair seconded to accept the recommendation from the Planning Commission to grant final preliminary plat approval to Morris Estates # 2 with the conditions outlined in report from CPS.  Carried unanimously.

J. St. Clair offered and Blair supported the resolution in opposition to the well and septic inspections by the Barry-Eaton County Health Department.

Nays: none

Absent: none

Resolution Adopted 7-0.

Blair moved and Kline seconded to approve the Special Use Permit for LD Clark for a building with a max of 5 drive up windows.  Carried unanimously.

Blair gave report from Road Committee meeting.

Blair moved and Towsley seconded to do two applications of chloride as in the past (one in May & one in August) on gravel roads and share with townships on south and west boarder.  Carried unanimously.

No public comments.

With no further business Marsh moved and Kline seconded to adjourn the meeting.  Carried unanimously.  Adjourned at 8:47 PM
