REGULAR MEETING – SEPTEMBER 26, 2006
MEETING ROOM – 7:30 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Slucter
Absent: none
Slucter moved and Blair seconded to approve the agenda as printed. Carried unanimously.
Kline moved and Marsh seconded to approve all items of the consent agenda.
Carried unanimously.
Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 82 calls in the past two weeks with 42 being traffic related.
Blair gave report on Planning Commission, Master Plan Task Force and Sewer Board.
Cribley gave report from Emergency
Service Department. J. St. Clair moved
and Blair seconded to appoint Rob Gillentine to the on call pool as a paramedic.
Carried unanimously.
Supervisor reviewed the proposed
2007 budgets and the major changes.
Towsley moved and Slucter seconded to set the public hearing for the 2007
Budget for Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 7:30 PM. Carried unanimously.
Discussion held on the street
light in Grand Pointe Subdivision. J. St. Clair moved and Slucter seconded to
table until the next meeting due to some concerns of safety if the light is
turned off. Carried unanimously.

Resolution adopted 7-0
Slucter offered and Kline supported the resolution opposing the K-16 proposal
that is on the November ballot.

Kline moved and Marsh seconded to waive the rights to insurance money
for the Kolonich pole building fire as the site is almost completely cleaned
up already. Carried unanimously.
