WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING - June 27, 2006

MEETING ROOM - 7:30 P.M.

 

 

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Slucter

Absent: none

 

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.

 

Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 80 calls in the past two weeks with 41 being traffic related. Chief Deputy Brian Peacock and Sheriff Mike Raines gave a presentation on the jail renewal millage that is on the August ballot.

 

Blair gave report from Planning Commission and Sewer Board.

 

Cribley gave report from Emergency Service Department.

 

J. St. Clair announced that the cemetery committee will be meeting on July 11, 2006 at 6:30 PM in the meeting room.

 

Blair moved and Slucter seconded to accept the recommendation from the Planning Commission to grant final preliminary plat approval to Jacaranda Estates #3 with the five recommendations in the CPS report and a master sidewalk plan.Carried unanimously.

 

Blair moved and Marsh seconded to accept the recommendation from the Planning Commission to grant final preliminary plat approval to Morris Estates #2 pending agency approvals.Carried unanimously.

 

Blair moved and J. St. Clair seconded to accept the recommendation from the Planning Commission to grant the extension for MacDonald Broadcasting Special Use Permit to June 2007.Carried unanimously.

 

Blair offered and J. St. Clair supported the Intent to adopt the correction of the error on pg. 53 of zoning ordinance to add M-2 to the list under 5.1.1.

Blair offered and Marsh supported the Intent to adopt the correction of the error on pg. 63 of zoning ordinance to correct 5.6.5(1) to 6.3.

Blair offered and Slucter supported the Intent to adopt the Landscape Chart with changes in areas between like zonings on pg. 112.10.

Blair offered and Kline supported the Intent to adopt the correction on pg. 70 to read 10' instead of 20' under 5.6.6(4)(D) to match chart.

Blair offered and Marsh supported the Intent to adopt the amendment for Cell Tower Ordinance for time limit on construction under 8.6.3(8)(5)(c).

Blair offered and Towsley supported the Intent to adopt the site condo 6.1.10. Discussion followed. Blair offered to withdraw motion and Towsley agreed to withdraw. Adopted. Slucter moved and Blair seconded to table site condo for further information. Carried unanimously.

 

Blair offered and J. St. Clair supported the Intent to adopt to add under Home Occupation on pg 98 6.2.3. Discussion followed. Blair offered to withdraw motion and J St. Clair agreed to withdraw. Adopted. Slucter moved and Blair seconded to table for further information. Carried unanimously.

 

Blair offered and Slucter supported the Intent to adopt the revised Chart A.

Judge Julie Reincke introducted herself as candidate for Eaton County District Court.

 

Linda Keefe introducted herself as the new County Commissioner.

 

Sue Butler announced that the public hearing for the dam will be held on June 29.

 

With no further business Marsh moved and Kline seconded to adjourn the meeting.  Carried unanimously.  Adjourned at 8:38 PM.
