REGULAR MEETING -
MEETING ROOM -
Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair
with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair,
Marsh, Slucter
Absent: Kline
Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department,
reported that we have had 59 calls in the past two weeks with 21 being traffic
related.
Blair gave report from Planning Commission and Sewer
Board.
Cribley gave report from Emergency Service Department.
Discussion held on the streetlight in Grand Pointe
Subdivision. Mr. & Mrs. Junttonen
were present and asked that the light be directed toward the street and not
their home. Supervisor will check with
Consumers and see if the pole is in the right of way.
J. St. Clair
moved and Slucter seconded to deny the request at this time for a contribution
towards the Meals on Wheels program for 2006 due all of the steps that are
required by law. We will review for
the 2007 budget. Carried
unanimously.
Blair moved and
Marsh seconded to approve the request from Dan McCabe for the Hilliard property
in Hill n Hollow to be 7 site condos with master deeds. Carried unanimously.
Resolution for platted lot splits will be at
the next meeting
No action taken on the Master Plan revisions until
Supervisor has meeting with consultant and chair of planning commission.
Blair moved and
Slucter seconded to sign the agreements with the Eaton County Road Commission
for Rossman from Gunnell to Canal & Rossman from Smith to M-99 & Nixon
from Vermontville to .62 miles north for single sealcoat and regravel Nixon
from Windsor Hwy to Billwood at a cost of $25217.50. Carried unanimously.
Clerk shared that we have received petitions from Windsor
Estates Mobile Home Park for signage on Canal.
Paula Olivarez introduced herself as a candidate for
District Court Judge for
Roger Rich expressed concerns over things happening
in the Emergency Service Department. Slucter moved and Blair seconded to send this
item to the Public Safety Committee. Carried
unanimously.
With no further business J. St. Clair moved and Marsh
seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at
Linda Towsley, Clerk
