WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING - APRIL 25, 2006

MEETING ROOM - 7:30 P.M.

 

 

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Slucter

Absent: none

 

Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we 58 calls in the past two weeks with 22 being traffic related.  Nine of the calls were criminal.

 

Blair gave report from Sewer Board and Planning Commission.

 

Cribley gave report from Emergency Service Department.  Mike Rich at first refused a closed meeting in regards to his status on fire department and then requested that it be done in closed session.  Moved to the end of the agenda.

 

Marsh moved and Slucter seconded to send the request from Dan McCabe to the Planning Commission in regards to the splitting of the Hilliard property in Hill n Hollow.  Carried unanimously.

 

Blair gave report from Road Committee meeting.  Eaton County will send us bids for single seal on several projects. 

 

Blair moved and J. St. Clair seconded to contract with Eaton County to do two applications of chloride (May & August) and share the west and south boarder roads with adjoining townships.  Carried unanimously.

 

Heard that sheriff department would like to make presentation on August ballot proposal.

 

Slucter moved and J. St. Clair seconded to move into closed session in regards to a personnel matter.  Carried unanimously at 7:57 PM.

 

Back into open session at 8:08 PM.

 

Slucter moved and Blair seconded to keep Mike Rich on the fire roster as a member with six (6) months probation.  Carried unanimously.

 

With no further business Blair moved and Marsh seconded to adjourn the meeting.  Carried unanimously.  Adjourned at 8:12 PM
