WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING - APRIL 11, 2006

MEETING ROOM - 7:30 P.M.

 

 

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Kline, Marsh, Slucter

Absent: none

 

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.

 

Blair gave report from Planning Commission and Sewer Board.

 

Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 56 calls in the past two weeks with 33 being traffic related.

 

Cribley gave report from Emergency Service Department.

 

Treasurer's report received.

 

Slucter moved and Blair seconded to pay general fund bills totaling $62643.15 (vouchers 16464 - 16524 & 19228 - 19257) Carried unanimously.

 

Supervisor shared attorney's letter in regards to the sale of MDM.  J. St. Clair moved and Slucter seconded to sign the letter of agreement in regards to the sale of MDM.  Carried unanimously.

 

Towsley offered and Blair supported the resolution of Retaining Local Control of Cable Franchising.

Ayes: Slucter, Marsh, Towsley, A. St. Clair, J. St. Clair, Blair, Kline

Nays: none

Absent: none

Resolution adopted 7-0

 

Marsh moved and J. St. Clair seconded to send $1000 to Kalamazoo Township to help with the costs of the lawsuit against DEQ in regards to stormwater permits. Carried unanimously.

 

Sue Butler, County Commissioner District 10, gave report on happenings at the county level.

 

With no further business Marsh moved and Kline seconded to adjourn the meeting.  Carried unanimously.  Adjourned at 8:07 PM.
