WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING - JUNE 28, 2005

MEETING ROOM - 7:30 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Butler, Slucter

Absent: Kline

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.

Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 221 calls in the past 5 weeks of which 107 were traffic related.

Blair gave report from Sewer Board.

Cribley gave report from Emergency Service Department. A Public Safety Committee Meeting was scheduled for July 12, 2005 at 6:30 P.M.

Slucter moved and J. St. Clair seconded to return Dennis McMahon to the Fire Dept roster as a Probationary Member. Carried unanimously.

Towsley moved and Butler seconded to set the Public Hearing for the change in billings for the sewer ordinance for August 9, 2005 at 7:30 PM. Carried unanimously.

Towsley moved and Blair seconded to transfer $11,000 from Contingency to Elections to cover the costs of the August and November Elections. Carried unanimously.

Cy Abdo, County Commissioner District 10, reported that he is working with the ECRC to get the speed lowered on Canal between Lansing Road and Windsor Hwy. Township will write letters to Rep. Jones and Sen. Birkholz to obtain their assistance with the MSP.

Butler commented on the annoys letter received by Township Board and Planning Commission Members, prior to the Public Hearing, in regards to the Horse Park and the threat of recall.

With no further business Slucter moved and Blair seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 7:59 PM.
