WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING - AUGUST 24, 2004

MEETING ROOM - 7:30 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Arthur St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Butler, Kline

Absent: Slucter

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we had 69 calls in the past two weeks. 44 of them were traffic related and 2 B & E's.

Blair gave report from Planning Commission and Sewer Board.

Blair moved and Kline seconded to sign the change for the Windsor/Dimondale Sewer Agreement adding District # 8. Carried unanimously.

Clerk shared that the MSP Bomb Squad had called in regards to a permit for the week of September 7^th for a firework's training.

Towsley moved and Butler seconded to authorize the Supervisor to sign any papers, if needed, that they might need for this training to take place. Carried unanimously.

Towsley offered and J. St. Clair supported the final adoption of Ordinance # 32(Liquor Control).

Ayes: Kline, Blair, J. St. Clair, A. St. Clair, Towsley, Butler

Nays: none

Absent: Slucter

Resolution adopted 6-0.

Heard that 2^nd application of chloride is being applied in the township and the seal coating is being done.

Discussion held on Carrier Creek. Supervisor will attend the Determination Day and will protect our way of protest.

Sam Febba, Secretary of the Library Board, thanked the Township Board for their continued support and appropriation to the Library. Butler thanked the Library Board for the wonderful library that we have.

With no further business Butler moved and Blair seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:10 PM.
