WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING - JULY 27, 2004

MEETING ROOM - 7:30 P.M.

Public hearing for proposed Liquor Ordinance was called to order at 7:00 P.M.

Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Butler, Kline

Absent: Slucter

The board discussed the need for an application and to set a fee. The Clerk will check with other jurisdictions and ask for their fees and a copy of their application. We need to get some estimates of what our costs will be to process an application.

There were no public comments.

Hearing was adjourned at 7:19 PM.

Supervisor called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 PM.

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.

Sgt. Doug Burkhardt, Eaton County Sheriff Department, reported that we have had 100 calls in the past 2 weeks. Of those 60 were traffic calls.

Blair gave report from Planning Commission.

Cribley gave report from Emergency Service Department. They have helped FEMA notify residents who had damage from the storms in May.

Towsley gave report from recycling meeting.

Towsley reported that things are ready for the Primary Election.

Discussion held on the proposed Liquor Ordinance. At the next meeting will share the information that is gathered and have the First Reading.

Blair reported that he has talked to Blair Ballou of the ECRC and he does not think that we will have much of a chance of getting any of our requests for the Nixon, Pinch and Royston railroad crossings.

Cribley reviewed the proposed Burning Ordinance. It will need to be reviewed by our attorney and the State of Michigan.

With no further business Butler moved and Blair seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:17 PM.
