WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES
REGULAR MEETING - JANUARY 13, 2004
MEETING ROOM - 7:30 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Butler, Kline, Slucter
Absent: none
Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
Cribley reported that Roger Rich retired on 12/31/03 after 40 years 10 months with our on call Fire Department. He also gave his annual report and shared pictures on the new laptop/projector system we received through the grant.
Blair gave report from Planning Commission and no report from sewer board.
Rick Jones introduced himself as a candidate for the House Representative for the 71st district. He will be retiring from the sheriff department at the end of the year after 33 years.
Ed Sharkey, representative from Nick Smith's office gave an update on happenings in Washington, DC. He encouraged people to return their surveys they will be receiving in the mail.
Treasurer's report received.
J. St. Clair moved and Blair seconded to pay general fund bills totaling $126694.29 (Vouchers 14680-14749 & 17789-17881) Carried unanimously.
Butler moved and Slucter seconded to appoint Rick Borucki to the Planning Commission for a 3-year term ending on November 20, 2006. Carried unanimously.
Supervisor St. Clair reported that Kamphuis has asked for water for his 80-acre site at Billwood and Canal. Art will set up a meeting with Kamphuis, Board of Water & Light and legal counsel for discussions.
Supervisor St. Clair presented a proposal for possible sewer extensions from Delhi Charter Township into our east boarder. Will discuss at next meeting.
With no further business Blair moved and Towsley seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:38 PM
