WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING - SEPTEMBER 23, 2003

MEETING ROOM - 7:30 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Butler, Kline, Slucter

Absent: none

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.

Lt. John Rojeske, Eaton County Sheriff Department, was present to answer questions and take comments.

Blair gave reports from the Planning Commission and the Sewer Board.

Blair moved and Kline seconded to adopt the sewer board amendment for Officers. Carried unanimously.

Emergency Service Director Cribley gave a report.

Towsley moved and Butler seconded to appoint Erin Dalby as the new Lt. of the fire department.  Carried unanimously.

Discussion held on how to proceed on the expansion of the sewer plant for the Creyts Road projects.

J. St. Clair reported that interviews were being held for the Sexton/Grounds position.

 Kline moved and Slucter seconded to authorize the Supervisor, Clerk and Treasurer to hire for the position of Sexton/Grounds upon completion of the interviews.    Carried unanimously.

Discussion held on 2004 Budgets.  There will be freeze on most departments and salaries.

Towsley moved and Slucter seconded to set the public hearing for the 2004 Budgets for Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at 7:00 PM.  Carried unanimously.

With no further business Kline moved and Blair seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 9:00 PM.
