WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING - AUGUST 26, 2003

MEETING ROOM - 7:30 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Butler, Kline, Slucter

Absent: none

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Lt. John Rojeske, Eaton County Sheriff Department, was present to answer questions.

Trustee Blair gave report from Planning Commission and Sewer Board.

Director Cribley reported that we have received a $2500 fire education grant.

Trustee Blair gave report from Legislative Conference and on the Leadership Council report.

Blair moved and Slucter seconded to grant the Special Use Permit to Arlington Hospitality Development Inc to operate a hotel in Westland Park. Carried unanimously.

J. St. Clair moved and Blair seconded to approve effective today the revised rules for the Windsor Charter Township cemeteries.  Carried unanimously.

Dr. Paul DeWeese was present to introduce himself as a candidate for the 7^th district in US Congress.  Slucter moved and Butler seconded to accept the gift for the township, which reads "In God We Trust".  Carried unanimously.

With no further business Kline moved and Butler seconded to adjourn the meeting.  Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:45 PM
