Meeting was called to order by Supervisor St. Clair with Pledge of Allegiance.

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.

Lt. John Rojeske of Eaton County Sheriff Department reported that we had 118 calls in the month of January. He also noted that one of those calls included damage of lawns, trash containers, etc at 40 homes.

Emergency Service Director Cribley gave a report for 2002. He also reported that our calls for this year are up from this time last year. Director Cribley also reported that we will have a "haz mat" trailer here at the station in the future. He also handed out a proposal for oxygen cascade equipment.

Butler moved and Blair seconded to raise the rendezvous fee for ambulance from $100 to $125. Carried unanimously.

Treasurer's report was received.

J. St. Clair moved and Kline seconded to pay general fund bills totaling $112,727.22 (vouchers 14022-14083 & 17212-17260). Carried unanimously.

Towsley offered and Blair supported the final adoption of the Landscape/Bufferyard ordinance.

Towsley offered and J. St. Clair supported the final adoption of changes in the zoning ordinance as follows: a) changing [maximun building] height to 40' in B-2; b) adding Bed & Breakfast to the various zoning areas; c) adding Motor Vehicle Repair to B-2.

Blair Ballou of Eaton County Road Commission and Kris Foondle of MDOT shared a video about railroad crossings. They also discussed what the procedures are for closing off a road at the tracks.

No action on Planning Commission appointment.

Towsley moved and Butler seconded to change our retirement plan to read effective January 1, 2002 that 457 money is included in the retirement plan. Carried unanimously.

Towsley offered and Butler supported the Eaton County Month of the Chld Resolution.
