Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Arthur St. Clair with Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Butler, Kline
Absent: Marsh
Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
Towsley moved and Butler seconded to approve the minutes from the closed session held on February 12th. Carried unanimously.
Lt. John Rojeske gave an update of calls in the township. In the first 26 days of February there have only been 56 calls. Car break-ins are down but 5 homes have been broken into.
Blair gave report from Planning Commission.
The mylar for Morris Estates Subdivision was presented for approval. The mylar is
missing three lots that have been built on and they pulled them from the plat. They stated
that they would need too many signatures and wanted to move the project along at this
point. They will need owners and mortgage holders to sign. These homes were built with a
variance from the Board of Appeals to allow 4 permits prior to plat approval as not on
public road. They also need to get floodplain restrictions signed. If lenders will not
sign then they would have to do land division.
Towsley moved and J. St. Clair seconded that we table this mylar until they have tried
to obtain all of the needed signatures to include all 16 lots as the preliminary plat
showed.
