Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Art St. Clair with Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Butler, Kline, Marsh
Absent: none

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.

Blair gave report on Planning Commission.

Supervisor reported that MDOT has offered the land at Nixon/Lansing Road to us for $450,000. We will not be purchasing the land.

Discussed changing the web site to Merit. There are many positives for joining in with other townships. Will check the current contract and discuss at next meeting.

Sheriff deputy was present with no specific report.

Blair moved and Butler seconded to grant tentative preliminary plat approval to Jacaranda #2 as the changes requested by Planning Commission were made. Carried unanimously.

The draft 2002 township budgets were reviewed. Butler moved and Blair seconded to set the public hearing on the budgets and mileage rate for Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at 7:00 PM. Carried unanimously.

With no further business J. St. Clair moved and Marsh seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:57 PM
