WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES
REGULAR MEETING - MARCH 13, 2001
MEETING ROOM - 7:30 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Arthur St. Clair with Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: A. St. Clair, Towsley, J. St. Clair, Blair, Butler, Kline
Absent: Marsh

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.

Head that Canadian National has pulled their request for rezoning their land in the NW corner of the township.

Kline reported on workshop he attended at Eaton County on Planning.

Treasurer's report received.

J. St. Clair moved and Blair seconded to pay general fund bills totaling $55,769.41 (vouchers 12730-12773 & 16107-16139). Carried unanimously.

Towsley moved and Butler seconded to set the following committee meetings: Public Safety at 6:30 PM on March 27th and Roads at 6:30 PM on April 24th. Carried unanimously.

Blair moved and Kline seconded to approve the committee lists as presented. Carried unanimously.

Towsley offered and Butler supported the resolution for boundry changes with the Village of Dimondale so that the legals match the map at the State of Michigan.

Nays: none
Absent: Marsh
Resolution adopted 6-0.

Towsley moved and Blair seconded to send the zoning ordinance changes to our attorney, Dick Robinson, for review before adoption. Carried unanimously.

Heard that the water problem at the [old township] hall is being taken care of this week. Also that the purchase agreement has been written and will be signed after the water problem is corrected.

The fence at EMS building has been looked at, but a complete estimate is not available until all of the snow is gone. Clerk will check with insurance company on coverage.

Discussed letter from Tom Traciak about sewer bonds.

Clerk read letter about Lansing area parks. No interest in participating as our park is pretty much booked for the summer already.

Supervisor shared letter from Stephens Consulting Services about the sewer system at Brooks River Landing. We will monitor as need more information.

Heard that there is a solid waste grant again this year from the county. Deadline is May 11th.

With no further business Towsley moved and J. St. Clair seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:47 PM
