MINUTES OF DIMONDALE/WINDSOR SEWER BOARD REGULAR MEETING
August 16, 2007
7:00 p.m. Meeting called to order by Chairperson Chappell
Roll Call
Present: Blair, Chappell, Reznick, Rich
Absent: Slucter
Motion by Blair, second Reznick to excuse the absence of Slucter.
Motion carried.
Also Present: Denise Parisian, Village Manager; Mike Spitler, WWTP
Operator; Art St. Clair, Township Supervisor; Betsy Kelly, Recording

Treasurer’s Report/Bills
Motion by Reznick, second Blair, to accept the treasurer’s report for
August 16, 2007 as presented. Motion carried. Motion by
Reznick, second Blair, to approve payment of $19,880.10 for August 16,
2007 bills. Motion carried.
Minutes
Motion by Blair, second Reznick, to approve the minutes of the July19,
2007 regular meeting as written. Motion carried.

No comments were received.
Superintendent’s Report
Spitler reported on the following: a main break occurred on August 10th
on Canal Road near Walnut Hwy. with flow contained in the ditch line, a
patch placed on the sewer main and a report filed with the DEQ; the UV
channel has been delivered and will be installed September 4th; sludge
hauling will take place August 20th -21st weather permitting; and
despite rumors to the contrary , there is no leak in the force main in
the river.
Old Business
1. Chappell initiated discussion on the REU Transfer Policy
response from the Village. Blair suggested tabling the issue
until all members have had a chance to review the document and
formulate questions and comments. The members concurred.
New Business
1. Chappell stated that officers need to be appointed for the
Sewer Board. Blair volunteered for the Chairperson position and
Chappell expressed interest in the position of Vice Chairperson.
Motion by Reznick, second Rich, to nominate Blair as Chairperson and
Chappell as Vice Chairperson of the Sewer Board for a term to expire in
August 2009. Motion carried.
Motion by Reznick, second Blair, to adjourn. Motion carried at
7:37 p.m.
