REGULAR MEETING – JANUARY 13, 2010
MEETING ROOM – 7:00 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Vice Chairperson Rick Borucki.
Present: Borucki, Blair, Bredin,
Absent: Kubicek
Also present: Jim Foulds, CPS
Johnson moved and Bredin seconded to keep the same officers (Dave
Kubicek, Chair; Rick Borucki, Vice Chairperson and Dan Blair, Secretary) for
2010 and to close the nominations. Carried unanimously.
Steve Pratt 1203 Waverly Road asked if there was some way in which he can keep his auto repair shop open at his home. This could be by Special Use Permit or Rezoning or whatever the Planning Commission could suggest. He does his work in a 50 X 80 pole barn, sets back off the road and has no signs. Blair stated that this would be a spot zoning but we could have Jim Foulds look into the situation. Foulds will report back at the February meeting.
Minutes were read and approved as printed.
Blair gave report from Township Board.
Borucki shared from the Alternate Energy workshop he attended.
Discussed Wind Power Ordinance. It is still a work in progress.
No additional public comments.
With no further business Johnson moved and Pray seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 7:54 PM.
