WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

REGULAR MEETING – FEBRUARY 11, 2009

MEETING ROOM – 7:00 P.M.

                                                                                                           

Meeting was called to order by Chairperson Kubicek.

Present: Kubicek, Borucki, Blair, Bredin, Burton, Johnson, Pray

Absent: none

Also present: Jim Foulds, CPS

Minutes of previous meeting were approved.

Blair gave report from Township Board.

Foulds reported on Master Plan and suggested an open house prior to public hearing.  He also stated that it would be good for village and township members to attend each other’s meetings and open house.

It was discussed the need for ordinances for corn and wood burners.

Public hearing for the two mixed zoning districts is set for March 11, 2209.

Reviewed the 2008 goals and revised for 2009.

Recreation plan task force will include Fran, Sandy and Jim.  They will review and find goals for the community.  Jim and Dave will first meet and then meet with the entire task force.

HAMMOND SITE PLAN REVIEW:

Cliff Walkington was there representing Hammonds.  They want to build two 40X64’ buildings.  They have the drawing for future development.

Borucki moved and Johnson seconded to approve the final site plan for Hammond’s two storage buildings on 080-013-200-102-02 with approval of the Fire Department, any Eaton county permits needed and keep with the long range plan.  Carried unanimously.

Penske request for storage use on Lansing Road is permitted by right in the zoning.  Foulds will send letter stating that this is an okay use.

Discussed letter about zoning updates and workshop and will notify Supervisor we wish to participate.

With no further business Borucki moved and Johnson seconded to adjourn the meeting.  Carried unanimously.  Adjourned at 8:14 PM.
