REGULAR MEETING – DECEMBER 10, 2008

Public hearing for St. Clair cell tower was called to order at 7:02 PM.
No public present and no comments from applicants.
Public hearing closed at 7:03 PM.
Regular meeting was called to order at 7:03 PM.
No public comments on non agenda items.
Minutes of previous meeting approved as printed.
Blair gave report from Board of Trustees.
Foulds gave report on Master Plan and the proposed B-3 and B-4 zoning.
Borucki gave report on Tri County Transportation Workshop he attended.
Dan Nauman, Art & Jan St Clair were present.
Foulds explained that Ordinance # 30 sets the rules for cell towers. They still need to submit the list of existing towers. They also need to provide a bond for removal, if needed. Everything else required was in the application.
Borucki moved and Johnson
seconded to send the recommendation to the Township Board to issue the Special
Use Permit for the St. Clair Cell Tower on vacant land across from
1. Meeting all requirements of Ordinance No. 30
2. Provide an inventory of existing communication tower/antenna locations within the township.
3. Provide method of financial guarantee for removal of monopole structure in the event of abandonment.
Carried unanimously.
Foulds stated that he would be attending the MSU class on wind energy.
No public comments.
With no further business Borucki moved and Johnson seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 7:29 PM
