WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

REGULAR MEETING - JUNE 11, 2008

MEETING ROOM - 7:00 P.M.

 

Meeting was called to order by Chairperson Dave Kubicek.

Present: Kubicek, Borucki, Blair, Burton, Pray

Absent : Bredin, Johnson

Also present: Jim Foulds, CPS

No public present.

Minutes approved as printed.

Blair gave report from Township Board.

Kubicek reported that there were no appeals.

Foulds gave update on Master Plan reporting that he is working on draft document for review at 6/18 meeting.

Borucki handed out copies of the Planning Guidebook, Zoning Guidebook and a checklist of actions. The class that was attended was discussed. Foulds discussed the new items required: 1) Hearings on Subdivision Plats, 2) Capital Improvement program unless the Township Board exempts the Planning Commission from participation, 3) Planning Commission diversity, and 4) Notice Requirement changes.

Foulds handed out proposed Zoning District B-3 and B-4 Outline with permitted land uses and special uses permitted. Proposed to modify B-3 to a minimum of 10 acres and keep B-4 at 20 acre minimum. Suggested that Multi-family Zoning be allowed by SUP in B-4 and Neighborhood Retail Center be added in B-3 SUP. also move Shopping Center, Auto, Truck, etc. Service, and Billboards to B-4.

Planning Commission will review list of uses for next meeting discussion.

With no further business Borucki moved and Pray seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 7:52 PM.
