WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

REGULAR MEETING – MARCH 12, 2008

MEETING ROOM – 7:00 PM.

Meeting was called to order by Chairperson Dave Kubicek.

Present: Kubicek, Borucki, Blair, Johnson, Bredin, Pray, Burton

Also present: Jim Foulds, CPS

No public present.

Johnson moved and Borucki seconded to approve the minutes as printed.

Blair gave report from Township Board.

Supervisor St. Clair was present and shared that the township has an option to purchase on the Creyts Road project known as the former Lange Property.  The group might want to review the Master Plan in that area.

Jim Foulds gave an update on where we are with the Master Plan.  He will do some additional work and the task force will meet at the close of the regular Planning Commission meeting on April 9^th.

Towsley shared about a Green Infrastructure workshop she attended.  Foulds will do the Tri County Transportation report for the Township.

Discussion held on the Recreation Plan.  Kubicek will check with Eaton County for any updates and Foulds will check with the Village of Dimondale. Then a sub committee will be formed to finish up the review.

CLUSTER HOUSING:

Foulds shared a beginning worksheet on this topic for the members to review.  We already have PUD’s and Overlay zoning.  Need to move Cluster Housing into each Residential area probably under SUP.

Foulds will continue to research.

ALTERNATIVE POWER:

Some information was shared and discussion held on the topic.  Will continue to work on and learn more about.

With no further business Johnson moved and Blair seconded to adjourn the meeting.  Carried unanimously.  Adjourned at 8:20 PM
