REGULAR MEETING – JANUARY 9, 2008
MEETING ROOM – 7:00 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Chairperson Dave Kubicek following the swearing in of Kubicek and Pray.
Present: Kubicek, Borucki, Blair, Bredin, Johnson, Pray, Burton

Also present: Jim Foulds, CPS and Linda Keefe, Eaton County Commissioner
Johnson moved to reelect current officers. Seconded by Pray. Carried unanimously.
Mike Reitz, who resides at 7426 Noel, reported that he was still having problems with junk cars and trash at his neighbor's house at 7417 Noel. He believes ordinances are being violated. The Township Supervisor and Township Attorney have previously been involved. Planning Commission will refer matter to Township Supervisor as he is Enforcement Officer. No other public present.
Minutes of previous meeting approved as printed.
Blair gave report from Township Board.
Kubicek reported that there were no Board of Appeals actions.
Keefe gave report on Eaton County Commission activities and the Committees that she is appointed to.
Foulds discussed proposal from the Master Plan Task Force. Discussion followed. Foulds reported that he will be making further changes to the October 2007 version of the draft Proposed Goals, Policies and Objectives and the draft Future Land Use Categories. Will send out to Commission members. Proposed Coordinated Growth Area was discussed. Next step will be the building of the map. Next Joint Land Use Task Force meeting is Wednesday, January 23 at 7:00 PM.
The Task force members commented on the positive nature of the meetings and that all thought the training class in Kalamazoo and chance to share knowledge with was beneficial.
Next meeting we will discuss where we are at on the Zoning Ordinance update list and setting Goals for 2008.
With no further business Bredin moved and Borucki seconded to adjourn the meeting.
