REGULAR MEETING –

Meeting was called to order by Chairperson Dave Kubicek.

Absent: none
Also present: Jim Foulds & Vern Fountain, CPS
Minutes of previous meeting were approved as printed.
Blair gave report from Board of Trustees and Master Plan Committee. The Mission Statement was reviewed without any changes. The next master plan meeting is December 6th at village council chambers.
HTA Corporation Special Use Permit:
Ted Harkins was unable to be present but Richard Couturier was present. They wish to operate a landscape business on the Lansing Golf Center Site which has just been rezoned to B-2.
They will use the 2 buildings that are on site and the golf center will use just the Heated T. There will be 2 pickups parked in the parking lot and maybe 5 during the day. They currently have cars there including the snow plow. There will not be any outdoor storage of materials or supplies.
Foulds stated that it would be helpful to have where actual things will be stored and buildings on the site. Also it would be useful to have the intensity of the use and number of employees.
Foulds stated he will set up a meeting with Mr. Harkins and gather this information.
The
Borucki moved and Bredin seconded to set the Public Hearing for the HTA
Special Use Permit for Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 7:00 PM as long as
Mr. Foulds has been able to meet with Mr. Harkins & Mr. Couturier(if needed)
and get the needed information including extent of use. Carried unanimously.
CONDITIONAL ZONING:
Foulds reviewed conditional zoning and proposed ordinance written by Township Attorney. Will work on time line to start the process in January 2007.
HOME OCCUPATION:
This was sent to the Township Board and they had some problems with portions. Township attorney has rewritten. Will need to hold public hearing after discussion.
