WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

REGULAR MEETING - AUGUST 11, 2004

MEETING ROOM - 7:00 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Chairperson Arnoldo Martinez.

Present: Martinez, Hall, Blair, Borucki, Burnett, Kubicek

Absent: Marsh

No public comments.

Minutes of previous meeting were approved.

Blair gave report from Township Board.

Kubicek gave report from Board of Appeals.

Hall gave report from Village Recreation Committee.

Brett Stockhill of Gove and Dave Love from FRAM were present to discuss their proposal. Mr. Stockhill reviewed the plan and referenced the letter from CPS.

Discussed the need for a second entrance. They prefer not to have one nor are there any plans for sidewalks along Creyts Road but they could place sidewalks inside the project. They do not have approvals from the Eaton County Drain Commissioner or Eaton County Road Commission. Discussed the setbacks and they feel they have enough land to cover the required amounts. These will be general condominiums with land under general ownership.

The road entrance off Creyts is not within their property description. Mr. Love stated it is not a problem as Mr. Lange, the owner of the property, is a part of this development. There will need to be some landscaping done along the northern boarder.

They will follow up with CPS so that final approval can happen at a future meeting.

Discussion held on holding an all day visioning session. Martinez will check on the location and facilitator for October. The October meeting will include some basics of Planning Commission training.

Will include the revised chart, subdivision regulations and site plan standards.

Mr. Asim Azzawi asked the commission to help him with his sewer district problem. He was told that they have no jurisdiction on this matter but could refer it to the Supervisor.

With no further business Borucki moved and Kubicek seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:14 PM
