WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING - JULY 14, 2004
MEETING ROOM - 7:00 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Vice Chairperson John Hall.
Present: Hall, Blair, Borucki, Burnett, Kubicek, Marsh
Absent: Martinez
Also present: none
No public comments.
Dan McCabe was added to the agenda under New Business.
Minutes of previous meeting approved as printed.
Blair gave report from Township Board and Recycling Committee.
Hall gave report on Village meeting about the dam.
WINDSOR HOMES - PHASE 1
Brett Stockhill of Gove Associates and Doug Stratton of FRAM were present to make a presentation on their development on the east side of Creyts Road.
They have 20 acres and will build 76 duplexes with garages and front parking. They will have landscaping with private roads on the interior. They will be in the $160-190,000 range and the association will own the land.
They felt it was important to show the plan to the commission even though the consultants have not reviewed it. They have talked to the drain commissioner but not the ECRC. There will be an attractive retention pond. Each unit will have their own meters for gas, electric and water. There will not be a clubhouse.
At the August 11th meeting the commission will review the plan and report from consultants.
DAN MCCABE
Dan presented a preliminary plan for a development at Canal and Walnut Hwy. It will be 11 or 12 homes. He will be buying sewer RE's from a private buyer. The homes will be in the $175-200,000 range. They will be on wells. The zoning is RIC. Not sure about the road. Will wait to send to the consultant when plans are more definite.
WORK SESSIONS:
Discussed dates for visioning session. Members feel a couple of evenings would be better than all day Saturday. Will discuss in August.
With no further business Burnett moved and Kubicek seconded to adjourn the meeting. Carried unanimously. Adjourned at 8:15 PM.
