WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

WORK SESSION - AUGUST 30,2000

MEETING ROOM - 7:00 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by Chair Dick Slee.

Present: Slee, Kyler, Blair, Hall, Slucter, Baker, Martinez

Absent: none

Also present: Jim Foulds, AGS

Reviewed sections ready for public hearing (proposed to set for October 11, 2000 at 7:00 P.M.) They include M-1; M-2; child care/senior assisted; definitions and clerical errors.

Discussed signs ordinance and working with county for permits. The areas above construction, permits etc will refer to county. All will be tied to Article 3 in current zoning.

Linda will check with Art on correct title on referral forms.

Arnoldo will check on signs and how they relate to PA 251.

Road right away signs fall under jurisdiction of ECRC.

Kern will rewrite section on Schedule D for real estate signs off site.

Jim will redo the sign section with changes.

Animal Control ordinance was reviewed. Jim will consult with Eaton County how these two would tie in together.

PUD's were discussed. They will be placed in residential and agricultural districts. They also will be called PRD. There will be two sections in each area and not zoning changes. This gives two options and we will do both.

Cluster housing will be changed to PUD for land use. Jim will expand what is there.

Mapping The parcel maps from county are ready for Jim to pick up

Dick shared tri county road maps with group.
