May 21, 2009
President Sam Febba called the meeting to order at 7:00PM
Present –Watson, Snyder, Conklin, Febba, Freeman, Borucki and Librarian Slee
Absent – none
January minutes read silently. Borucki moved and Snyder seconded that the minutes be approved. Passed 6-0.
Financial reports for January, February, March and April were presented – Borucki moved and Conklin seconded the motion to approve pending audit. Passed 6-0.

Librarian Slee reported the library as the beneficiary of a New York Life insurance policy from Robert Hull in the amount of $110, 447.11. $110,000 was placed in a CD at Mercantile Bank; balance to the general fund.
A reminder from Librarian Slee that we need more prize donations for the summer reading program, which runs from June 22 thru August 1.
$2391.38 State Aid check received. Half of that amount - $1195.69- sent to the Woodlands Co-op.Next year state aid will be reduced by 4%.

The Investment Policy was amended. Motion by Snyder, second by Borucki. Passed 6-0
The Internet Access Policy was amended. Motion by Snyder, second by Freeman. Passed 6-0
A new Plan of Service from Woodlands Cooperative was presented – the new plan is required due to changes in the administrative rules in the Library of Michigan. The new information was shared. Motion by Borucki, second by Snyder. Accepted 6-0
A motion to present a thank you letter to Windsor Township Board of Trustees was made by Freeman and seconded by Watson. Passed 6-0.
Borucki moved and Freeman seconded the motion to adjourn. Passed 6-0 and meeting adjourned at 7:30PM.
