Library Board Minutes
January 15, 2009
President Sam Febba called the meeting to order at 7:00PM
Present –Watson, Snyder, Conklin, Febba, Freeman, Borucki and Librarian Slee
Absent – none
November minutes read silently. Borucki moved and Snyder seconded that the minutes be approved. Passed 6-0.
Financial reports for November and December were presented – Conklin moved and Borucki seconded the motion to approve pending audit. Passed 6-0.

Librarian Slee reported cash donations from Linda & Floyd Conklin, Pam & Charles Warner, Liz & Sam Febba and a laptop computer from Stephanie Freeman.. A reminder from Librarian Slee for the board to start to solicit prizes for the summer reading program.

Unfinished Business – none
Librarian Slee had a request to amend the budget. To transfer $100 from Miscellaneous to audit. Conklin made the motion and Borucki seconded. Passed 6-0
Survey-Discussion was held about an inquiry from a patron about a township wide survey. The Board decided against doing one due to the high cost which could be used for books.
President Febba suggested we send a letter to the Township Board thanking them for their support. Febba will write the letter and Linda Conklin volunteered to deliver it.
The schedule of bylaws review is such the board members are asked to read the bylaws and bring any revisions or suggestions to the next meeting.
Conklin moved and Borucki seconded the motion to adjourn. Passed 6-0 and meeting adjourned at 7:28PM.
